The first-ever Garden of Eden Festival took place in Eden Mills, VT in 1996. The festival name stuck even though venue locations have changed over the years, which will again be the case as the event moves from its previous location in Plattsburgh, NY to Greenfield, MA. Greenfield is centrally located and is an easy drive from anywhere in the Northeast region Of course, The Town of Greenfield also has many other attractions including a beautiful downtown district, a wide array of nature walks and a wide array of quality area merchants and restaurants.

Burlington's Strangefolk has built a strong national following based on impressive sales of their five studio releases, a rigorous touring schedule, and their annual festival, Strangefolk's Garden of Eden, that attracts thousands, which the band has funded, promoted, and hosted for the past eight years. At the heart of Strangefolk's songwriting is a seamless blend of narrative lyrical content and inventive melody. Rock, folk, blues, and bluegrass influences converge to create an instantly recognizable sound, which keeps Strangefolk's listeners moving from start to finish.
